Purpose

Heat to vaporize superglue and use the superglue vapor to develop latent sweat fingerprint on non-porous surfaces.

Description

A. The fuming chamber is internally equipped with the humidifier, circulating fan, humidity sensor and activated carbon purifier. These elements are controlled by the microcomputer program, so that the chamber can produce condition suitable for adherence of superglue vapor to sweat fingerprint ridge.

B. The fuming chamber is controlled with buttons.

C. The LCD screen displays all technical parameters (the user can modify the parameters).

D. Four sides of transparent glass slab enables the user to observe the fingerprint development process.

E. The built-in activated carbon filter removes residual superglue vapor in the chamber automatically.

F. Two vertical air ducts in the fuming chamber take in air from the bottom of the chamber and exhaust air from the top of the chamber, which keeps the air flowing in the chamber and ensures the balance of humidity and superglue vapor concentration in the chamber.

Method

A. Place the exhibit on the exhibit holder in the fuming chamber, add appropriate amount of superglue to the superglue heating tray, add appropriate amount of water to the water heating tray, then close the chamber door.

B. Turn the power on and the LCD lights up to show all the development parameters.

C. Press the “START” button to begin the fuming process, during which the humidity in the chamber is maintained at 80%.

D. When the fuming is completed, the purifier is activated to absorb the superglue vapor in the chamber with activated carbon.

E. After all processes end, the buzzer sounds and the fuming chamber stops working automatically.

F. The glass slabs and the built-in lighting enable the user to observe the development process, and the user can press the "STOP" button at any time to terminate the developing process.
