BTSN-II Postmortem fingerprint record strip holders

Purpose

A complete fingerprint should cover four sides of the finger (front side, fingertip, left side, right side). Since the fingers of the deceased cannot move easily, to take prints of four sides, fix the fingerprint card on the card holder and take prints of four sides by rotating the card holder.

Description

Curved aluminum strip, with length of 141mm, width of 42mm and thickness of 42mm. At the tip of the card holder, there are four stoppers to fix the print card with a width of 42mm.

Method

Make the print card pass through the four stoppers, to curve the print card. Ink the finger and then press the print card on the finger, make the curved print card naturally fitted with the front side, the left side and the right side of the finger, then slightly rotate the card holder to fit the fingertip with the print card, so that all four sides of the fingerprint are taken.
